American Airlines has partnered with the U.S. Transportation Security Administration (TSA) and the U.K. Department for Transport (DfT) to launch the One Stop Security (OSS) program. This initiative, which started as a pilot on February 4, eliminates redundant security checks for passengers connecting through Heathrow from Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) to non-U.K. destinations.
The key benefit is travelers no longer need to undergo security screening again at Heathrow’s Terminals 3 or 5. This significantly reduces wait times and the risk of missed connections.
Additionally, passengers can remain confident that their checked baggage will automatically transfer to their final destination without re-checking. This update is a significant step forward in the American Airlines transit process, ensuring a seamless airport transit experience for passengers.

The One Stop Security program is part of a broader effort to streamline global air travel while maintaining rigorous security standards.
