JetBlue Airways is launching a JetBlue TrueBlue expansion to strengthen its competitive position beyond the East Coast. By June 2025, the airline will reveal its much-anticipated new partner – a strategic alliance with another U.S. carrier.

This partnership will fill the gap left after the Northeast Alliance with American Airlines ended. The expansion gives TrueBlue members access to new destinations not currently served by JetBlue’s network.

The updated TrueBlue cities list will grow to include midwestern and western locations previously unreachable for JetBlue’s loyal customers. Travelers can soon enjoy Omaha and Boise flights through the new partnership. According to Marty St. George, JetBlue’s president:

  • Members will earn and redeem points across more destinations
  • Travel options will increase significantly
  • Loyal customers gain access to a truly nationwide network

While the partner remains unannounced, potential airlines include Alaska, Delta, Southwest, and United, which offers unique benefits for network growth.

Strategic Growth Despite Industry Challenges

Despite facing a $1 million lawsuit from American Airlines, CEO Joanna Geraghty confirms JetBlue remains focused on expansion plans:

  • Two new cities will join the route map in 2025
  • Long-term growth objectives continue advancing
  • Strategic priorities remain unchanged despite market conditions

  • Extra-legroom seats rebranded as “EvenMore
  • Domestic first-class cabin coming soon

These enhancements demonstrate JetBlue’s commitment to improving the travel experience while expanding its network reach through strategic partnerships.
