JetBlue Airways is making a bold entry into the premium travel market with the launch of two exclusive JetBlue lounges, an upgraded credit card offering, and growing excitement among customers eagerly awaiting these new features.

The first lounge will open in late 2025 at JetBlue’s home base in Terminal 5 of New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport, followed soon after by a second lounge at Boston Logan International Airport.  These JetBlue lounges’ new locations mark a significant expansion of JetBlue airport services at major airports.

JetBlue President Marty St. George expressed his excitement about the upcoming launch, “Customers have asked for JetBlue lounges for years, and we can’t wait to unveil our take in New York and Boston,” he said. “Lounges have become an essential offering for the growing numbers of customers seeking premium experiences, and JetBlue’s lounges will further boost the value of our TrueBlue loyalty program as we expand our portfolio of JetBlue credit cards.”

“Customers love the JetBlue experience, so we’re pulling through those thoughtful touches you find onboard our flights into the lounge experience,” added St. George, pointing towards the superior service JetBlue is known for.

This move positions JetBlue to compete more directly with legacy carriers like American, Delta, and United, which have long offered airport lounges as part of their premium services. By entering this space, JetBlue is signaling its intent to capture a larger share of the lucrative business and luxury travel market.

Upon completion, the JFK lounge will be over 8,000 square feet, while the Boston location will be 11,000 square feet. Both lounges will showcase JetBlue’s signature color palette and offer various spaces for relaxation and work.

JetBlue lounge access will be available to its TrueBlue Mosaic tier 4 members and transatlantic Mint business class customers. The exact pricing structure for lounge access is yet to be disclosed.

JetBlue also plans to announce a new co-branded credit card, which will include lounge access as one of its benefits to further engage its premium customer base. Moreover, JetBlue intends to introduce day passes and an annual lounge access subscription.
