Southwest Airlines has introduced a new promotion to help customers more easily earn A-List and A-List Preferred status for 2025.
The promotion, which runs through November 30, allows travelers to earn tier-qualifying points faster than usual.
“We’re bringing back this popular promotion to give our Rapid Rewards Members an extra boost to reach our coveted A-List and A-List Preferred tier status faster, so they can take advantage of all the benefits that our Rapid Rewards program has to offer,” said Jonathan Clarkson, the Vice President and Chief Product Officer at Southwest Airlines, in a statement.
Points can be earned not only through Southwest Airlines flights but also via reward travel, which is now eligible to count toward status.
Travelers must register online for the promotion and can accumulate points through various Southwest Airlines Rapid Rewards partners.
For credit card holders, an extra 2,000 tier-qualifying points are available for every $5,000 spent on Southwest Airlines credit cards.
In addition to flying, customers can boost their points by making purchases with partner hotels, car rentals, and other services.
A cap of 5,000 points can be earned from these partner transactions during the promotion period.
The program also offers the popular Companion Pass, which allows flyers to bring a designated person along for nearly free.
To earn the Companion Pass, customers must either fly 100 one-way flights or collect 135,000 points within a calendar year.
A-List and A-List Preferred members enjoy perks like early boarding, same-day standby, and free WiFi for Preferred members.
This travel news offers frequent travelers a valuable opportunity to achieve status more quickly and enjoy these exclusive benefits.
As noted in Southwest Airlines news, this promotion is designed to reward loyal customers and enhance their travel experience.
