Delta Air Lines has regained its status as the top on-time airline in the U.S. for August, reclaiming the spot in the most on-time airline ranking after a dip in July.

According to aviation analytics firm Cirium, Delta achieved an airline on-time performance rate of 80.9% in August, marking a significant recovery from July, when the airline faced disruptions caused by the CrowdStrike IT incident. The incident led to nearly 6,500 flight cancellations, dropping Delta’s on-time rate to 72.55%.

Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL), Delta’s primary hub and the world’s busiest airport, also saw notable improvement, reporting an on-time flight rate of 79.28% in August, up from 63.94% in July.

United Airlines secured the second spot on the top punctual airlines list with an on-time rate of 78.38%, followed closely by Southwest Airlines at 78.17%.
