Starting May 1, 2025, Thailand launched its digital entry form, the TDAC. All non-Thai visitors must complete this form before entering by air, land, or sea. This modern system replaces the old paper forms, making immigration faster and borders more secure.

Why You Need the Thailand Digital Entry Form (TDAC)

The TDAC will become a mandatory part of Thailand’s travel requirements in 2025. It connects with Thailand’s biometric database to create a smooth entry process. Every visitor, whether a tourist, business traveler, or resident, needs it. Those simply passing through without clearing immigration are exempt.

Without completing the TDAC, you may be denied entry. Thankfully, the process is free, online, and quick to complete.

Simply submit your information within three days before departure. You’ll receive a QR code to show at immigration – that’s all you need!

How to Fill out the Thailand Digital Entry Form

Before starting, have your passport, travel details, and accommodation information ready.

  1. Visit the official Thailand Immigration TDAC page. Select “Arrival Card” and enter your personal details.

Why the Change? Thailand's Tourism Boom

Thailand is preparing for 39 million visitors in 2025, matching its record-breaking 2019 numbers. Several factors drive this surge:

  • Viral sensation Moo Deng (the pygmy hippo at Khao Kheow Open Zoo)
  • The popularity of White Lotus, filmed on Thailand’s stunning islands
  • Major resorts reporting 40% increases in bookings

The new entry form for Thailand helps manage this tourism growth. It ensures smoother experiences for visitors while giving officials better tools to handle the influx. Do this before leaving home to avoid any issues upon arrival.
