As demand for affordable airlines to El Salvador continues to grow, this new service from the ultra-budget carrier comes at an opportune time.
The historic El Salvador flight launch took place on Friday, November 1, 2024. Service operates every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday, supplementing the existing one-stop flights from Miami to San Salvador via San Pedro Sula, Honduras.
New Route Details and Schedule
Budget flights to El Salvador are now operating four times weekly between Miami International Airport (MIA) and the capital of San Salvador.
The Airbus A320 aircraft offers 174 passenger seats, providing a swift 2-hour and 45-minute journey to the heart of this captivating Central American destination.
“Serving the growing travel demand of Salvadorans and Central Americans to the United States continues to be one of the most important objectives of Volaris El Salvador,” Ronny Rodriguez, Director of Sustainability and Corporate Development at Volaris, said in a recent statement. “Expanding connectivity options at the lowest cost for travelers visiting friends and family or traveling for pleasure and business to the United States is our priority and expands our presence in the country.”
New Flights to El Salvador Pricing and Destination Highlights
Among the latest travel deals to El Salvador, tickets for the new flights start at just $49 for a one-way trip from Miami, making it one of the most affordable options for travelers. These cheap flights to El Salvador are expected to boost tourism and business travel significantly.
This new route addition enhances Volaris El Salvador’s existing network of destinations within the United States, which includes cities such as New York, Washington D.C., Los Angeles, Houston, and Oakland.
Currently, American Airlines and Avianca also offer direct flights to San Salvador from Miami for those seeking alternative airlines.
